Astronomers struggle to observe faint celestial objects with traditional telescopes. In dimly lit medical exams like endoscopies, clear visualization is key for diagnosis, yet traditional devices often fail.
The Image Intensifier Gen2+ overcomes these issues. Inside its vacuum seal, weak light hits a sensitive photocathode, turning photons into electrons. These are accelerated and multiplied via a micro-channel plate, boosting the signal thousands or millions of times. The multiplied electrons then strike a phosphor screen, emitting visible light for a bright, clear image. This enables high-quality imaging in the dark, opening doors for national security, scientific discovery, and medical care.
